If you are anything like me, you probably have a computer hard drive full of photos that never quite seem to make it to print. It does take a little time and energy (2 things that we are all probably a bit short on), but I am always so happy when I do get a few photos out of computer land and onto my walls. They don't have to be perfect; all that really matters is that they mean something to you.
Here are three easy and simple ways I have chosen to display our documentary style photos recently.
I'm a sucker for clean lines...and square prints. I purchased these 4x4 prints from Artifact Uprising and the wire curtain rod and hooks from Amazon. This was relatively inexpensive and pretty easy to install (which means I heard minimal cursing while my husband was installing it). These are all photos of our family from this past summer. I love passing through our dining room now and catching a glimpse of something that reminds me of our summer together. My favorite part is that I can swap the photos out super quick when it's time for a change.
Sometimes it only takes 1 photo to tell a complete story. Here I printed a photo of my daughter walking on the beach onto canvas through Canvas Pop. This photo is an iPhone capture. So, again, no need for perfection! We chose this print because the colors go well with the room decor and it reminds us all of the fun we had on a family trip to Costa Rica.
This last one is a display that a friend and I created from 4" square prints and square frames. These are photos I took of her family during an evening lifestyle session in the summer. She was having a hard time choosing which ones to print, so we just decided to order a set of 25 prints and chose 8 of them to fill up her hallway in these cute square frames.
Hopefully, I'm leaving you with a little inspiration to get those photos onto your wall! You will be so happy when you do!
